NZSBA Business Breakfast

Winter months are especially good for organizing and attending different events. Apart from organizing its own, POLANZ, the PL-NZ Business Association,  representatives often attend events organized by similar organizations. POLANZ was present at Germany-NZ business events, Italian or Czech events.

Recently,  Maria Nowak, vice President of POLANZ  took part in. the New Zealand -Scandinavian  Business  Association Breakfast, which was held  on the  very crispy Thursday morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Auckland Office with beautiful view on Waitemata Harbour Hauraki Gulf.  It was interesting to hear  addresses  by  Andrew Jenks – New Zealand’s Ambassador to  Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland ( based in Stockholm) and Simon Hearsey – New
Zealand’s Trade Commissioner responsible for Nordics  countries( based in Berlin) about  the impact of Covid- 19 on Scandinavia’s economy, and the outlook of New Zealand’s relationships and trade
with the region.

All attendees enjoyed breakfast with Swedish fika (coffee and delicious Nordic style cinnamon buns). Thanks to Chris Linton NZSBA President and Frank Olson, Hon. Consul for Sweden and president of the NZ-EU Business Council for inviting POLANZ to this event  (both mentioned are pictured with Maria). Some photos from the event attached, incl. table with tasty Scandinavian buns.
