President
Experienced leader, director and project manager. Passionate software engineer with over 20 years industry experience in Telecommunications, worked with many customers worldwide and currently focused on New Zealand broadband. Among his personal interests are process quality optimization, sustainability and cybersecurity.
Maria Nowak
Vice President
Vice-president of POLANZ, co-owner and Managing Director of Green Lite Travel (since 1995). Green Lite travel is a corporate member of POLANZ. Her company is also a member of TAANZ (Travel Agents Association of New Zealand) and has IATA accreditation. Maria is a member of PROGUIDES NZ, the Association of Professional Tourist Guides. Maria’s hobbies: outdoor adventures, travel and long walks.

Design Engineer, Inventor-patents holder, Project Manager, Company Director. 25 years industry experience specialised in Modified Atmosphere Packaging Systems, working with high-profile global organizations. The last 15 years running his own successful company, building and exporting packaging related equipment to Dairy and Meat Industries word wide. In spare time keen sailor and the owner of 40ft classic motor yacht “Valhalla”

Andrew have been running successful Importing business for over 20 years. After selling the company he has dedicated his time between POLANZ and running several investment projects. Huge Aviation fan. .
Dr Jakub Stechly

For over a decade Jakub has been on a journey towards sustainable energy use with a focus on mobility. He has unique experience in the field of sustainable mobility, gathered in both private and public sector, non-governmental organizations and large national and international organizations. He loves sailing, skiing and endurance sports.

Pawel Szymonczyk

Pawel finished his MSc International Business Management at Aberystwyth University in Wales. After working for an Environmental Economics Consultancy and Polish Consular Services in the UK he moved to New Zealand to work for the NZ Transport Agency. His passion in Japanese and European Fencing resulted in winning New Zealand Sabre Championships.
